Flood Update
Armstrong Creek RV Park & Cabins

November 11, 2024

It has been a while since we have posted an update. As you can imagine, we have had our hands full. However, we did want to make our renters aware of a few resources you may want to look into:

The American Red Cross has recently completed a survey of the campground. We were informed that some of our renters may be eligible for funds provided by their organization. We do not have the details but were told to have you call 1-800-RED-CROSS to be registered in their system. We were told that registering is so quick and simple that you may feel that you did not accomplish anything by calling. However, once registered, the Red Cross may reach out to make you aware of funds you may qualify for. You are highly encouraged to register.

If you or someone you know is in need of temporary housing, you are encouraged to contact Brooke Henzel with Operation Helo. Her cell number is (772) 207-6242. She asked that you contact her directly.

We are heartbroken to report that Armstrong Creek RV Park & Cabins was completely destroyed by flooding from Hurricane Helene. Fortunately, no lives were lost and everyone who remains on the property is safe. Due to serious damage to the bridge on Stockton Road, travel to the park is not advised. Until the bridge is repaired, it will not be possible to move RV’s from the park. We ask that you please continue to pray for everyone who was affected by this devastating storm.

We are providing the videos below in hopes that it will assist our campers in filing claims with their insurance companies and/or FEMA:
